Merry Christmas

Well, Christmas went pretty good. Better than expected. We got to skype with Aaron ALL day long and he got to see us all open our presents. He might not of been there in person, but skype is DEF the next best thing!! :) I'm not sure what this world would do without it.

Yay!!

We all got such wonderful presents and the kids were excited. They didn't get as much as I would of liked since we're going back to Hawaii in 12 days!! SO I didn't want to have a lot to haul back with us. But we'll get them more once we're home! We all got us some cowboys jeserys too! WOOHOO!! We're pretty excited about those!!! OH YEAH. lol

Sundays in the Frederick household will consist of THIS! :D

Now -- with all that being said, I have ONE thing I need to say. Yesterday I realized a couple things. Friends come and go, family is forever! I'm done putting my time into friendships that are pointless. I've had ENOUGH of those and certain "friends" have shown me their true colors these last few months. When I look back at these friendships, all they did was walk all over me and take things id do for granite! They didn't appreciate shit. I was lucky enough to even get THANK YOU'S for the things I did. A one thing in particular was the last straw for me. The ONE thing I needed help with and got a slap in the face pretty much. That right there was enough to show me the kind of person they were. I did try and push past it & give benefit of the doubt but, I was right all along.  It's sad when things have to come to that point, but at the same time - it's good! & I couldnt be happier about it.

My husband. My kids. and My family are all I need in life to be happy! And i'm SO grateful for all my new army wife friends i've made! I LOVE this life style and life and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

& It's ALMOST christmas. Then it's time for me to LEAVE and go home to Hawaii, YAY! Not looking forward to the 5 hour flight but oh well....lol it'll be worth it to get home and in my house!!!!

THEN my man will be home soon after!!! I'm so excited.

Yay - I am so happy christmas is soon!

It's my most favorite holiday. I miss being little and always sleeping downstairs right next to the tree so I could catch Santa, tie him up, and go steal his sleigh! I had it planned out EVERY christmas, but for some reason.... I could never stay awake. No matter how hard I tried. Any other night, I could stay awake till whenever I wanted, but nope...not Christmas eve! Then when I was in 4th grade, I figured out Santa wasn't real. lol Broke my heart. I was playing in my parents room and seen presents under their bed and I looked at them and the said To Marissa, From SANTA! Oh I was crushed.. i still to this day wish Santa was real, hahah! It's the little kid in me. It just made Christmas time that much more fun.

But now Aaron and I get to play Santa for our kids, so....that'll be fun! :D

Speaking of Aaron, it sucks so much he isn't going to be here this Christmas. Our first christmas apart and it's Brookelynn's first christmas! :( 

I guess she's young enough that she won't even remember but it'd be nice for him to be with his family :(

Stupid Afghanistan!

OH MAN.

I will be out of this 20 deg weather and into the warm sun and a nice beach in like 4 weeks. OH YEAH. I cannot freakin wait. I am so over this cold. It does nothing but put me in a bad mood and all I do is sit home.

Im so excited to get back and get into my house and decorate it and hangout with my new friends. I haven't had a friend to hangout with since like, high school. lol. So, it's about time I get out. :)

Christmas is coming up fast! I'm excited yet not, cause Aaron is not here to spend it with us! :( Makes me sad. i had my friend Stacia do some really cute christmas pictures of the kids for Aaron! They turned out SO good!!!

Well, lastnight was awesome. Brookelynn woke up one time and for like 2 minutes. I put her binky in and wrapped her up and she passed right out and slept till almost 8! I am PRAYING she sleeps the same tonight. A night of letting her cry it out seems to of worked!!!

Love my snuggle bunny - she is the best ever!!!

SO then, my mom and I made some really cute reindeer candy canes!! lol. Turned out super cute. I love crafty stuff so I cannot WAIT to get back to Hawaii and into our new house so I can start making crafts and decorating!! WOOHOO.

Then I hung out with the kiddos, sure they can drive me nuts but I love my kids more than anything in this world. They are my everything and Idk where id be without them. They just put the biggest smile on my face and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have the privilege to be their mommy!

THEN, I made a friend the cutest blanket ever for her little boy she's having and I am super excited to give it to her! Woohoo. :)

hahah OH yeah, and right before Aaron came home on R&R I made him this cake, buuuuut I didnt really like it SO I never showed it to him, lol :/  It was a first time thing, and fondant is NOT as easy to use as it looks lol. Its easy for the shapes and what not but to actually wrap it around the cake and get it to look perfect, yeah...not easy! But I guess for first try it didnt turn out 1/2 bad!
